Goof-Boys

You know the old adage that you can give kids all the toys in the world and they'll invariably play with the box?

What's that sticking out of that box?
It's a Davis!
And Trev has decided he wants to try for a world record of blowing up several balloons at a time. He started with one, then two, then three, then four, then....
He got up to five. We told him to wait til he grew some more and his mouth got bigger!
Love these guys, Ruth!

Awwww. Boys can be such fun, can't they? And as far as I am concerned, five balloons at once is definitely a world record.

There is something about those five balloons that makes me laugh and laugh. It's like there is a perfect caption waiting to be written.

Your lawn looks fantastic!

Why do even buy toys? We could just pull boxes out of some dumpster and wrap them up for Christmas. And they would be all excited!!!

I have a son who goes absolutely crazy over boxes. He wears them, sits in them, builds with them. His imagination is endless.

Love the balloon picture. Tell your son that I can't even blow up one!

Everyone thinks I'm joking when I say DS is getting two foil helium balloons for his birthday. And that's it. At 2, that's really all he wants. :) Ok. I might knit him a sweater. DD's favorite toy of the week, not the array of ponies and pretties, but a rubber ice tray that I got for 65 cents at Safeway clearance. Hee.

Those balloons remind me of my dh stuffing his mouth full of soft bread-he said as kids they used to have contests how many pieces of wonder could they stuff in there...ugh!

Okay. They are totally adorable. And just think of the low cost play opportunities. :)
