I hate Backwards Day.
So far today:
In the shower, I put the conditioner in my hair before the shampoo.
I put the tea bags in the sun tea jar and then put it in the fridge instead of out in the sun.
I couldn't find my car keys until I got in the car (which is in our driveway, not in the garage) and there they were, in the ignition from yesterday's adventures.
I tried to put both my contact lenses in one eye.
I put T's clothes in D2's drawers and D2's clothes in T's.
I had to rip out the sock I started yesterday (don't talk and read charts).
This is what happens when I actually get a good night's sleep!
Off to fumble through the rest of my day, Ruth!
Oh, bummer! Maybe you shouldn't be driving today.
ReplyDeleteHa! I have days like that too. Whole seasons it seems (like the year I turned 40 and within a few months gave myself a concussion-in the shower, reconcussed it, oh some other thing, and caught myself on fire!).

ReplyDeleteI had a week like that two weeks ago. Hope it turns around for you soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope Thursday is better!
ReplyDeletePerhaps the moon is "filling up or full?"
ReplyDeleteThose days make me crazy- I always think- I can't do anything stupider than "that" and then I do.
Be very careful
I hope you survived the rest of the day! Dang, I hate days like that.
ReplyDeleteCrazy day! But…my sister-in-law showed me that "sun tea" is actually safer made in the fridge, so that wasn't really backwards! Try it! I live in Phoenix, and we're now told NOT to make it in the sun (which takes about half a minute this time of year) because of the risk of bacteria. So I switched to the fridge method and it's worked great. Pretty fast too.
